Jen has managed the volunteers in person for several years. We have a way for volunteers to register in the database, then we can select and assign their tasks based on their preferred time slots that they select.
The in person tasks are working at registration desk, door monitors, floater, and workshops. Virtual volunteering is technical help, monitoring Rocketchat, and looking for bugs on the website. See the volunteer details here.
Once a volunteer has completed their shifts, Jen processing a complimentary registration. The volunteers originally pay for their own tickets and only get the refund back once all their shifts have been completed.
