Each Session has a Zoom meeting. The SlidesLive engineer will start the meeting 30 to 45 minutes before your first event. All authors of the papers presented in the session are encouraged to join this Zoom meeting. At least one author for each paper in the session should join the Zoom meeting a few minutes before the first talk to introduce themselves to the engineer, test audio, and discuss the program.
ICML Zoom Background available if you would like to use it.
NeurIPS Zoom Background (comming soon) available if you would like to use it.
Logging in as Author From the conference home page, click on Virtual Site, then Schedule, then Session name in the virtual schedule. On the page that appears, click on the Join Zoom link- next to the abstract link at the top of the page (visible only to Authors and Session Chairs).
Check the event page ahead of time to confirm that you can see a Join Zoom link. If you do not see the link, please contact
SlidesLive will stream the pre-recorded videos at the correct time. For the live Q&A, the SlidesLive engineer will stream the Zoom session. The audience will not join Zoom, but will watch the session on the embedded live stream on your event page.
Webpages have two sets of zoom information. SlidesLive’s engineer will use the "Start Link" to start the talk. You only have to use the "Join Zoom" link at the top of the page.
Attendees use RocketChat to ask questions, and the Session Chair/Moderator monitor RocketChat and relay questions to presenters to be answered as part of the live stream.
Authors can optionally log into Rocket.chat to chat with attendees live.
The first 30 minutes of each poster session may overlap with the extended Q&A for the Invited talk that Preceeds this poster session.
During this time, poster presenters are not required to be at the poster, and all participants have the choice of continuing to attend the Q&A with the Invited Speaker, or joining the poster session on GatherTown.
We recommend that all the posters are attended by authors at the beginning of the second hour, and again on 15 minutes marks, to increase the chance of the attendees engaging with the poster authors.
