Depending on how the conference is organized some events may be able to have YouTube videos uploaded to the conference.
In order to upload a video for a conference you must be associated with an event for the conference where the organizing committee has decided to support YouTube videos. Accounts are identified by an email address. Accounts may be created as part of the process of loading papers into the system in which case a new password will need to be requested for a freshly created account.
Check with the organizing committee on the length of videos as well as any other features required for the videos.
Note: If you have more than one event or paper please be sure you upload the correct video for each event or paper. The event title is shown just above the selection area. The event type is also shown (it's possible that there may be both a Poster event and an Oral event for the same paper). If you have multiple events they will be listed farther down on the page and may be selected by clicking on that event's ID number.
After you've selected the proper event for your video, copy the YouTube URL into the YouTube URL field. Then click Submit.
Videos may take an hour or two to propagate throughout the conference website. Check with the organizing committee for deadlines on when videos must be completed by.
You may replace existing uploads with new ones.
Depending on how the workshop is organized it is up to the individual workshop organizer whether they would like your video uploaded or not. The workshop organizers are listed at the top of each Workshop page on the conference website. For ECCV 2024, there will be no upload option for workshop papers.
It may be that YouTube videos aren't supported for your event for the conference. Check with the organizers to see if YouTube uploads should be enabled for your event.
Another common problem with not seeing ones paper listed on the Uploads page is that the userid (email address) associated with the event doesn't match the userid (another email address) which you are using to log into the conference website. The events may be loaded from OpenReview or CMT or manually input by an organizer. For CMT or OpenReview check the email associated with your paper on those sites, otherwise contact the support staff about what email was used. Often the best solution is to "merge" the other email address into your desired email address see linked-accounts. You can also log into the conference website using the other email, you may need to reset the password for this other profile if you've never logged in using that email before.
In addition to any papers that a workshop organizer is also an author on, workshop organizers see all the videos in their workshop. This is so that the workshop organizer may upload the videos for their papers themselves if so desired and also quickly see the status of youtube videos for their session.
